There’s no shortage of fun and unique things to do in the city, and that is especially true in the summer.
One of my favorite things to do this time of year is round up the family and head out to one of Marin or San Francisco’s amazing farmers markets. Fresh fruits and vegetables are always plentiful, fabulous entertainment is just a short walk away, and, of course, there’s always an opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal.

Marin Farmers Markets and Events

This exciting new exhibit at the California Academy of Sciences will take visitors on a journey to help them discover what makes Northern California so unique. From the immersive fog room, to earthquake stimulators, to the incredible marine mammals, guests will have the opportunity to experience and interact closely with this exhibit.

Enjoy free concerts and entertainment every Sunday at 2pm from now through August 19th at Stern Grove. This summer’s lineup includes Ziggy Marley, San Francisco Symphony, Ronnie Spector and the Ronettes, San Francisco Ballet and much more!
Designated as one of the top farmers markets in the country, The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market features high quality farm-fresh product, artisanal goods and incredible prepared foods.
