Are you suffering from a holiday hangover?
Holiday hangovers are caused my many things, not just by overindulging in adult libations.
While the holiday season is a time for celebration and spending time with your loved ones, it can also leave you feeling more than a little run down.
Here are a few tips to cure that holiday hangover:
Rest up - Squeeze a a nap in whenever you can. Even a 20 minute power nap can leave you feeling refreshed.
Get your self care on - Love massages? Make an appointment at your favorite spa. Like soaking in a long bath? Make some time to relax in the tub. Whatever self care means to you, take some time out to take care of you.
Exercise - Get outdoors and go for a walk, or head back to the gym if you've taken a break during the holidays.
Get back to your normal routine - For most people, the holiday season is filled with glorious days off of work, no school for the kiddos and simply ‘going with the flow’. Slowly getting back to your normal routine (normal bedtimes for everyone, waking up a bit earlier, etc.) will make the transition back to post holiday life so much easier.
