How fabulous is it to sit outside in a gorgeous space on a beautiful spring day?

If you love to spend time outdoors while at home, consider freshening up your outdoor space. Whether it be your front porch, back patio or a small balcony in a condo or apartment, a few small additions can make a big difference.

A few strands of outdoor lights can add a festive touch to any outdoor area. If you are a plant lover, adding a few pieces of greenery can make your space feel calm & relaxing. If you have the room for it, adding patio furniture or a hammock can give you a great place to relax and unwind. Here are some other ideas:

• Use spray paint to liven up metal chairs, flower pots, etc.

• Tie the area together with an outdoor rug.

• Re-purpose indoor items or utilize garage-sale accessories for your outdoor space.

• Update pillows and/or furniture covers.

• Add a container garden if you don’t have space to plant.
